Interactive Sing-along, Movement & Games

Birdie's interactive show is purr-fect for 1 to 5 year olds. She leads a sing-along of the classics -- think "Itsy Bitsy Spider, Wheels on the Bus," then leads group movement, such as monkey dance, dancing with the scarves, etc. Then she brings out the instruments, (shakers, tambourines, etc) for everyone to play to music on CD.

She also presents fun facts about wildlife using puppets, inspiring everyone to respect mother nature while having fun. She can also lead parachute play, the feed the elephant game and more.

For the older birdies (3 to 5), she can read a fun musical or wildlife story. And for the younger birdies (12 months to 2 years) she can lead games like "musical hugs."

While Birdie does not require parent participation, it makes the experience better for everyone. Add ons include: a custom designed show, a song written for your child & accomodation of larger groups.

Classic Band Show

Kids 1 to 5 are going WILD for Birdie's wildlife / animal-themed music. She has been a featured performer at festivals & kids parties all over Los Angeles. Watch her in Action by clicking on the videos to the left.

She sings a mix of original tunes & kids classics (Lion Sleeps Tonight, Old McDonald) while playing CAJON (a box drum) accompanied by a guitarist or keyboardist. Her original songs “Shake your Tail Feathers” & “Elephant in the Congo” & "Iguana Wants to Baila," are always big hits! She brings out animal puppets during the show and can bring instruments so kids can play along! Birdie can also add other interactive games, or other instrumentation -- Bass, Horns or Steel Drums.

Birdie singing & playing cajon accompanied by guitar for 45 minutes: $250

Birdie's Playhouse hosts a Complete Party Package at the eco-friendly REDISCOVER CENTER in Mar Vista (on Washington Blvd. between Lincoln & Centinela). The basic package includes rental space, covered tables & chairs, a pillow room with instruments & a toddler light table. Add ons include Birdie's interactive show or music entertainment, food, animal-themed decorations, Wildlife CD party favors, & more!
